Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Thinking on such things is the best thing to do when bad news presses in. I often think about ‘these things’ at night after prayers. I fall asleep thinking of all the wonderful things I experience in this life as a child of God, and what is to come! As brothers and sisters in Christ, it is also edifying for us to raise Christ up and Praise God to each other. Let us speak often about ‘these things’.
2/9/2021 If I am able to persevere through the waiting, once the prayer has been answered, it didn’t seem like such a long time because it just feels right. It feels like the right time. I’m praising God today for a few brothers and sisters in Christ who are joining with UFFC to lend their wisdom and service in helping to build this into what it will become. Thank you Jesus! Bless each one with confidence and gifts to add what you desire Father. In Jesus name, I pray for your Glory God. Amen.
11/05/2020 Ron Larson – There are dry times, and there are times when there isn’t enough time in the day to experience the complete fulfillment of God in my life. Oh that I could experience fully what God is filling me with during those times I consider dry. I know He isn’t taking a break, and He has not forgotten me. Still, it is difficult. I find myself yearning to start something, do something, change something… “Be still and know that I am God.”, I hear echoing in my spirit. It is hard to be still, still… I realize my salvation does not hinge on works or lack of them. I didn’t fully understand why I felt led to take UFFC down for nearly three months, but I am certainly PRAISING GOD TODAY! that I have been encouraged to resume this service I love. Thank you Lord God for the dry times and the busy times.
